Hebrews 11:1(KJV)
11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
I always hear people asking, “How can you have faith in something you can’t even see?”. Well, the above verse shows that the very definition of “faith” is that you believe without seeing. I have faith that Thomas Jefferson existed even though I have never seen him and no pictures exist of him. You could argue that proof of his existence is in Philadelphia, but I’d respond by saying that proof of God’s existence is everywhere.
Hebrews 11 is all about what faith is and how important it is.
