God Uses All Things For Good

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.


Every time something bad happens, people say God will use it for good. Atheists love to point to this verse when a woman has a miscarriage or there’s a major natural disaster and say, “How can God use this for good?”.


But the verse doesn’t say that. It says all things come together for good for those who love God. In other words, all things work together for blessing cookies if you love God. The individual ingredients for cookies might not be desirable by themselves but bring them together and you have something amazing.


Also, another important part of the verse is you basically have to be a believer for this to be a thing. "...to them that love God".
